Full Biography

I write about museums and public history, urbanism, cultural landscape studies, and American popular culture. In addition to directing IU's interdisciplinary Curatorship graduate program, I also link the university to its public through my service as director of the boards of the IU Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology and the IU Historic Preservation Committee.

I am not currently available to serve as a dissertation director, although I continue to teach, mentor, and serve on doctoral committees for students with relevant interests.
